Meditation - Lofoten White House
This picture was taken on my February 2024 trip to the Lofoten Islands in the northern part of Norway. I call it “Lofoten White House”, because of the structure on the right. This differentiates from the “Lofoten Red Shed”. I printed this picture as a 13” x 22” on smooth art matte paper. The picture was coated, and laminated to 6 mm backing and then put into a floated black wood frame. You can see this exact picture below where the “Lofoten Red Shed” picture is just above it. These two picture look very good together! For any picture I strive to capture lots of detail. The meditation video was filmed from the actual picture hanging on my wall. And from this you can see the detail that was not only captured from the camera, but from the print itself.
My meditation videos run from 3 minutes to 6 minutes. They are meant to relax you and put you in a positive relaxed mindset. In my life when I was most stressed I found pictures of scenes helped relax my mind so that I could deal with the problem at hand later. I have found meditation helps me to be less emotional and more productive. This is one of the reasons I like pictures like these hanging on my walls.
